Avoid every generic "artisan coffee" trope.
WatchHouse is one of London's finest specialty coffee roasters, with multiple cafe locations and a growing online subscription business.
The challenge was building a site that honoured the brand's genuine craft positioning — not the generic "artisan" aesthetic that every third coffee brand uses, but something that felt as specific and considered as the beans themselves.
Split-screen editorial. Cafe and product, equal billing.
We built a split-screen editorial hero that placed the roastery and the cafe in equal prominence — because WatchHouse is both a place and a product.
The subscription e-commerce was integrated with delivery scheduling and coffee preference profiles. Multi-location pages were built with individual character, not a template repeated five times — each cafe location got its own visual treatment.
“It looks and feels like our cafes look and feel. That is the highest compliment we can give a website.”
